Wholesale Car Auctions – How to Acquire the Best Deals

If you are trying to get an extra special deal on a used vehicle, you need to find a way to get around the middleman and go right to the wholesale car auctions where the actual dealers pick up their cars.  Are you aware that used cars are in actual fact marked up around 200%? The fact is if you pay $5000 to buy a car the dealer actually paid less than two grand for the same car at an auction.

By excluding the middleman you personally get yourself an exceptional deal on a car without having to go through any of the irritation of dealing with a dealership. Many times a person might lose their job, and as a result of that they can’t keep up with their car payments so their car ends up getting repossessed. In this type of a situation the repossessed vehicle ends up on the auction block and gets sold. You can discover cars that are nearly brand-new with very low mileage as well as finding vehicles that were modified by the previous owners. We’re talking about cars with a price tag of anywhere from $10,000-$15,000 brand-new, and they sell at auction for less than $5000. There are a number of really amazing opportunities to pick up high-quality vehicles at wholesale car auctions. So if you’re in the market for a new car you should seriously contemplate checking one out.

When most people first hear about the remarkable deals on offer at these auctions they wish they can somehow hand in their car so they can buy a similar one at an auction for a fraction of the cost. That’s why it’s fantastic to buy cars when they are being sold at auction. The person buying them gets remarkable deals while avoiding having to pay off any kind of loan for an extended period of time. Why buy cars brand-new when you can get cars as good as new for a third of the cost? It’s very silly to not want to take advantage of this type of a situation.

I myself purchase all of my vehicles at wholesale car auctions nowadays. You can come across an incredible deal at an auction and turn around and sell that car for a profit of your own. This is a wonderful thing for those who have the entrepreneurial spirit and want to make some nice extra money on the side or do it as a full-time business. If you could find 4 or 5 cars each month at the correct price you can literally turn around and sell those and make around a $10,000 profit every month or even more. And the best part is you don’t have to devote a great deal of your time in order to earn this money, once you develop a system that works well for you.

You can simply take the vehicle you bought and put it for sale in your local paper. Find a mechanic and have them do a full inspection and then double your price from what you purchased it initially and you can probably sell this car in about a week’s time. But don’t feel obligated in any way to start your own used car business. Feel free to just use this knowledge you’ve now gained as a way to obtain all of your vehicles very cheaply and at a small percentage of the cost of what you normally pay for them.

The most important factor about wholesale car auctions, is knowing which ones to attend. There are various online databases available that you can join which allow you to find out the best seized car auctions available which aren’t being advertised to the general public. This way you don’t have to bid against a ton of people but only a chosen few that know about these secretive auctions that take place. Many times you can place bids on these cars without even having to show up.

Wholesale auctions are pretty scary for my business. There are a lot of good cars at the auctions but there are a lot of bad ones too. I have had good luck with the old fasion way of developing dealer relationships and buying new car trades and lease returns. Just becuase they say that they send all the cars to the auction doesnt mean that they always will.
