You can buy whenever you get ready. So don’t let the car salesmen talk you into getting one right now. Ask Questions Before You Buy

Before you buy a car warranty make sure you ask a lot of questions. It is extremely important that you know exactly what you are getting. I can’t tell you how many people were paying for warranties but still weren’t able to get their cars fixed because they didn’t have the coverage they thought they had. So don’t be afraid to ask questions. Find out if there is a deductible and if so what is it? Do you have to pay per visit or per repair? Can you take your car anywhere to get repaired or do you have to take it to a specific dealer?

Do you have to pay upfront and then get your money back from the warranty company or will they handle all payments? What all is covered and what is excluded from coverage? All of these are very important questions that you need to ask before you purchase the warranty. In some cases you might not need a car warranty cause you might already be covered by your insurance.

If you do decide to get a car warranty make sure you get it from a reputable company. After all, the car warranty is only as good as the company that issued it.
