With shoppers flocking to showrooms, Chevy car dealers are generating money again and have begun sharpening the look in reception areas and hiring back workers. Some big car dealerships are even spending vast amounts snapping up independent dealers and smaller chains – an indication of renewed confidence in the marketplace!

The auto customers are rebuilding again from your historic downturn in America!

Now, rising car sales are improving allowing the surviving Chevy car dealerships to recoup. In the first 90 days of this year, In the US people bought more than 3 million vehicles, a 20% increase from the previous year as well as the equivalent of a seasonally adjusted annual pace greater than 13 million. That compares with annual sales of just 10.4 million inside the depths with the downturn back 2009, the worst for auto sales since 1970.

Pre-Owned Chevrolet Trucks: How To Find Them

1972 Chevrolet Truck

Trucks are very expensive, but buying pre-owned Chevrolet trucks is a terrific way to obtain a Chevy truck for less. A good number of times Chevy trucks are used for government programs and when these trucks reach a particular mileage or age, they’re auctioned off through government car auctions. This can be a splendid way to get a pre-owned Chevy truck.

You’ll discover the smaller pre-owned S-10, the heavy duty ¾ ton Chevy truck, and you’ll also find 4×4 trucks that are pre-owned and in terrific shape if you don’t mind a vehicle that has a slight use on it. Chevy trucks have been proven to last for 100’s of thousands of miles so you shouldn’t let the high mileage of some of these vehicles concern you. Also, you’ll realize that a large number of government car auctions detail the condition of the truck very thoroughly.

They will tell you about the shape of the interior, the exterior and what they know of the mechanical ability. Of course, buying at an auction does mean you’re purchasing as is.

Buying a Repossessed RV vs New Or Used RVs For Sale

A Class A motorhome with slide-out extended floors

If you’ve decided you want to purchase an RV but are unsure whether to buy a new or a repossessed RV, the best thing to do is compare the two and decide which is right for you.

Price. The biggest difference between a new or repo RV is price. As soon as a new RV is driven off the lot, it loses 30% of its value and then an additional 10-20% in the next couple years. Frequently RVs at used dealerships were purchased by the dealers at auction. They still provide a substantial savings over new ones, but buying a repossessed RV at auction yourself is even cheaper. Banks are interested in getting the RVs off their records as quickly as possible not making a profit, so you can buy quality RVs at low prices.

Amenities. To truly enjoy your RV, it needs to have all the amenities you want. You can find repossessed RVs with the same amenities as new ones, especially since repossessed RVs are usually fairly new. Also consider whether the features you want can be added later or if that would be too difficult or costly. It is often possible to add an upgrade or two to a quality repo rather than paying more for a new RV with everything. For the most part, there is little difference between the amenities available on a new RV versus a repoed recreational vehicle.

Car Battery: What Is The Best Way To Care For It?

Image by Eva the Weaver via Flickr

The cars which are being built today are much more complex than those built 20 to 30 years ago due to the technological advancements. A lot of accessories and extra features most of which operate on electricity, are also included in that. Add some awesome auto accessories like a bigger stereo and you’ll need heavy duty car batteries. All batteries will need to be changed at one time or another, but there are things you can do to make it last longer.

There are a few things you can do to ensure that your battery lasts longer. As it interferes with electrical current, you must clean battery posts quite often in order to protect it from corrosion and gunk. A water hose which is pressurized along with a wire brush will accomplish the job best. Another possibility is for you to buy some aerosol foam battery cleaner from an auto shop which should greatly help with getting rid of any dirt.
